House born in mind

I was thinking about the apartment that I would like to buy. It was a sleepy afternoon in home. My niece wanted me to sit with her, when she was enjoying teletubbies show. Was getting bored, I tried hard to concentrate and drew the apartment that I would like to buy. I am not a civil engineer to worry about the measurements, beam location, columns width... But the thought of home design is very interesting. I took an hour to put that imagination and dream into a piece of paper. Today I translated that paper drawing to computer using a freeware. The drawing is devoid of many details, but it is rough sketch of my expectations. My cousin is a flat promoter. Believe, he is going to have a tough time with me in building my apartment. :)

Few comments:
* Don't put urself in a square. Think out of the box. I mean the periphery is a square.
* Is that a reading room or a Master's Bed room? >:O)
* U need to consult Vaastu.
* The Hall is way too Big.
* Don't u need a Store Room? To dump things in or to hide when burglars attack! >:O)
* Need atleast 1 more Balcony.
* Yengaiyya BathRoom?

BTW, whats that freeware?

@Das,
kitchen is there da. I couldn't mark it in the drawing. It is the partition in the back end of hall.

true. reading room is bigger than bedroom. i will look into it!

@Ran
Out of the box - ???!! mmmm.. let see whether i get something different idea later

that is reading room only. will work out the measurements later.

vaastu- no dude. I dont believe in that

I really wanted hall to be big. its predominant living space right??

store room, pooja room are missing. I can reserve some space for it in reading room

1 more balcony...vachita pochu. I want first floor house. so i can have any number of balcony

WC is bathroom. thats in civil engineer's terms

Good work Satu. If possible also plan for a wash area where you can keep the washing m/c, vaccum cleaners, the wash buckets etc....Then you dont have to mess up the bathrooms using them for washing too.

@Vibhor
Welcome here dude. Will work on your suggestion

@queen
thanks buddy. yep, I had a place for them in kitchen in my plan. but couldn't put in drawing. bathrooms are too small for these stuffs. Isn't it??
